Filipino President Bongbong Marcos declares that the Philippines, along with several other countries, is prepared to evacuate all of its nationals and possibly civilians from Sudan, primarily Khartoum. The Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs also announces the suspension of all flights to Sudan in order to ensure the safety of its citizens, and raises alert levels to level 3 after a Filipino is hit by a stray bullet in Khartoum.
